We've already brought you the news of the possibility of a future in which cameras can capture scents and now we're highlighting this funky invention from Japan posted over on Food Beast.
Called Scentee, the device plugs into a smartphone and through a range of cartridges can blow certain scents at the user.
The invention comes from Japan and so far can provide the scent of coffee, cinnamon rolls and apple with the next series of cartridges coming in November to provide users with the scents of meats including short ribs and beef tongue.
It seems we're getting one step closer to emulating our perfect smells and we all know just how vivid the memory linked to scent can be.
