Imagine if brewing your own beer at home was as easy as baking bread - this is the thinking of the people behind the PicoBrew Zymatic - a kitchen top appliance that allows people to easily brew their own beer as simply as making a cup of coffee.
The PicoBrew company was started by Jim and Bill Mitchell who say the "wanted to make the creation of high-quality beer brewing simple, amp up the art, and tone down the tedium."
The system the pair have developed is simple to use allowing users to load ingredients into a container select a recipe and begin brewing.
The project was posted on the crowd funding site Kick Starter and has already well surpassed the funds needed to make it happen. There's 18 days left to back the project so if you want in on the first batch of PicoBrew systems then take a look at a more detailed breakdown of how it works.
