Bloomberg reports that the British chef Jason Atherton is set to open a new restaurant in Dubai adding to his already long list of venues in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Singapore and London.
Atherton is apparently working on a restaurant called the Dubai Marina Social and Social Room which will include a large bar, DJ and reports online suggest it will operate in a similar style to the chef's Social Eating House in London's Mayfair area - informal, great atmosphere, vibrant food and setting.
Details about the project remain sketchy with exact location, food and style unknown, however, if Atherton's past venues are anything to go by, they'll certainly be an interesting mix of flavors from East and West on the menu.
At the moment the chef's press team are not confirming or denying the reports but with the original story coming from Richard Vines at Bloomberg it's a pretty solid bet.
