The team over at Elite Traveler have compiled a list of the the people they believe will be the 15 most influential chefs of the next decade.
Working with their food critic Andy Hayler the team have tried to compile a list of young chefs who are set to make a large impact on the culinary scene.
Chefs like Eneko Atxa and his sustainable Azurmendi restaurant in Bilbao. The Brazilian chef Alex Atala makes the list for his contribution to the rise of Amazonian ingredients and Brazilian cuisine.
Interestingly the UK is home to two of the chefs on the list, Simon Rogan and Brett Graham and in Asia both Andre Chiang in Singapore and Takashi Saito (pictured above) and his tiny sushi restaurant in Japan are also featured.
In Italy it's Antonino Cannavacciuolo and France has no fewer than 3 chefs featured on the list - although not all of them natives.
It's an interesting look at the rising young culinary stars of the future and well worth a glance to stay ahead of the culinary curve.
