The Fine Dining machine that is Joël Robuchon is set to open yet another restaurant, this time focusing on a 50 seater venue in Bordeaux.
Work on the new restaurant will begin this summer with an expected opening planned for January 2014.
Robuchon already sits on top of a huge empire with around 20 fine dining restaurants around the world.This year the chef has an impressive four restaurants on Asia's 50 Best Restaurants list and one on The World's 50 Best Restaurants list for 2013.
Speaking about the beautiful setting of Rue de Tivol for the new restaurant, Robuchon said, ""This is an exceptional castle and it immediately excited me. It is beautiful and in such a place there must be great food."
Details of the menu and restaurant concept are still sketchy but be certain to expect that clean, ingredient focused, style that is synonymous of the entire Robuchon empire.
