It's been almost three months since Ametsa with Arzak Instruction opened in London's posh Halkin Hotel. During this time the restaurant has mantained a low-profile while churning out beautiful dishes like the ones pictured here.
Just like they've done at their award-winning Arzak in San Sebastián, Juan Mari Arzak and his daughter Elena Arzak have led a team of chefs to create gorgeous menu served in an atmosphere that is absolutely dreamy (which is no coincidence as ametsa means dream in Basque).
Ametsa with Arzak Instruction has a stunning interior with oak floors and a ceiling decorated with 7,000 glass vials filled with spices. The sleek decor is complemented by an earthy color palate that holds up to the Arzak's colorful avant-garde Basque cuisine.
Although it's too soon to tell if Ametsa with Arzak Instruction will turn out to be one of the world's best restaurants or earn Michelin stars, the dishes pictured here show potential.
What else would you expect from a restaurant run by the chefs who catapulted Arzak to number eight on The World's 50 Best Restaurants list sponsored by S.Pellegrino and Acqua Panna?
