Well, butter us up and call us a biscuit! The Queen of Butter Paula Deen will soon have a shrine in her honor.
The Albany Herald reports a group of investors has bought Deen's childhood home in Albany, Georgia and plan to turn it into a museum. The idea was spearheaded by businesswoman B.J. Fletcher and Jimmy Deen, Paula's ex-husband.
Will it have a giant statue of Paula sculpted from butter? We're not sure yet but the news of the museum is mighty exciting for fans of the self-made chef, television host and cookbook author.
Apparently, Paula still has some of the furniture from that home so it'll be easy to decorate like it once was. Can you image a young Paula enjoying cheerleader cookouts and sleepovers?
''That house holds so many memories for me...I still have mama's living room set and daddy's - they had separate rooms later on because daddy had to sleep with a night light and mama couldn't. I'm just so excited about the possibilites.''
