The three Michelin starred chef Alain Passard, who this year ranked 16 on The World'd 50 Best Restaurants list for his L'Arpège restaurant in France, has launched a line of trash cans alongside the Danish design company Vipp.
Each trash can features a trademark vegetable collages designed by Passard himself for his book The Art of Cooking with Vegetables.
Speaking about the new product Passard said: "I want to surround myself with functional products that help me focus on my métier. When Vipp invited me to do a collection of their bins, the answer was evidently yes; I wanted to embellish this classic and discrete object with my collages."
There are a range of designs but kiting your kitchen with some Passard chic doesn't come cheap, the trash cans cost $395.
