Ever since Elena Arzak and her father Juan Mari opened their restaurant in London last month, Ametsa has remained a bit of a mystery. This gorgeous video by Pixel Rain hopes to shed some light on the Arzak's fascinating new venture.
Offically called Ametsa with Arzak Instruction, the restaurant is located inside the Halkin Hotel and serves the new Basque cuisine the father-daughter team became famous for at their restaurant Arzak, which has three Michelin stars and ranks 8th on the World's 50 Best Restaurants list, which is sponsored by S.Pellegrino and Acqua Panna.
In the video, Juan Mari explains the restaurant's concept and what it means to him and his staff. ''Ametsa is like a small island in this big city...for me it's a magic place, like pure magic.''
