How To Dye Easter Eggs Using Silk Ties

Craftmaster Robert Mahar from Kin Community on YouTube will teach you the surprising way you can resuse old silk ties to decorate your Easter eggs - but please, don't steal any from grandpa's closet.

Mahar's special technique involves wrapping the eggs twice before dying: once in the silk tye then in plain fabric to prevent the color from spreading to other eggs as they cook. 

For dying the eggs, opt for stainless steel or cast iron pots. Keep in mind you'll also need a cooling rack to set your eggs on after you fish them from the water.
