Anthony Bourdain's latest TV offering, Parts Unknown, airs on CNN Sunday 14th April with the celebrity chef traveling to different parts of the world to uncover interesting dining rituals and cultures.
The show will see Bourdain step further off the beaten track than any of his previous series with trips to countries like Libya, Colombia, Peru and the Congo. In each episode he will meet with locals and some chefs to get a personal, up-close, view of the area and its food.
In the first episode the chef, who is famous for his No Reservations TV series, will travel to Myanmar - formerly known as Burma - a country that, until recently, was off limits to foreign visitors.
Those who are worried that the Bourdain style and wit may be lost in his latest show will be glad to know that Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown is produced by Zero Point Zero Productions, the same team who produced his No Reservations, The Layover and A Cooks Tour TV shows.
