Created by the Dublin based design duo, Ahmad Fakhry and Cian Corcoran, this set of strange looking items are in fact tools for enjoying a multi sensory meal at the Edible Exhibition at the Dublin Science Gallery.
Called Eating Objects, the idea is to offer people the chance to experience molecular gastronomy in a new way exploring food.
Users of the Eating Objects are asked to construct their very own eating objects at the table before being served a range of dishes that are meant to show of how tastes, colors and textures can be drastically altered by molecular gastronomy.
The idea is that by involving diners in the process of creating their own food with objects at the table they are engaging with their dishes in a whole new way, a way that's meant to help reveal the process behind the food.
