"I saw all white and I just can't believe it, it's a feeling of Joy and lots of emotions." Yoshihiro Narisawa on Asia's 50 Best Restaurants awards
Chef Yoshiro Narisawa from Japan took top spot on the inaugural Asia's 50 Best Restaurants awards sponsored by S.Pellegrino and Acqua Panna. The chef was visibly shaken as he accepted his award with his wife, who said: "It's wonderful, thank you, this is the pay off for so many years of hard work and sacrifices."
To celebrate the chef's achievement FDL have three great recipes direct from his Les Créations de Narisawa restaurant in Tokyo. One for Soil Soup, one for Hilda Beef with Leek Charcoal and one for his famous dish Ash 2009 - Wind of Basque.
The gala event for Asia's 50 Best was crammed with chefs, journalists and gastromads from all over the world, while twitter and other social media were awash with tweets of joy and congratulations for the chefs who made the list.
