It seems designers are still not content with the many yolk separating devices already on the market. We've already brought you and interesting video of how to do it at home but this little device from Yolkr goes one step further.
Created by Hamish Dobbie, the Yolkr is an egg yolk separator that simply allows users to squeeze the white from an egg while protecting the yolk.
Dobbie placed his design on the crowd funding site Kickstarter and has already received almost double his initial funds of $15,000.
There's still 38 days to go on the site but with so many people pledging their contributions to the project it seems there is a strong demand for a well designed, functional, egg yolk separator.
