With the increasing number of food items, packaging and general kitchen discards getting higher everyday, the unique uses for trash seems to be getting more varied everyday.
We've looked at great uses for used food products before including these great little wine cork planters and now we bring you these pieces of art from the photojournalist Huguette Roe.
Called Recycle, the project looks at the afterlife of bottles, cans and food packaging discarded on landfills. The pictures show the products once they've been categorized and crushed together ready for recycling.
A way to try and perceive some beauty in the increasing amount of trash we throw away each year.
