The Foodspotting website has had a new redesign bringing a much more Pinterest based image driven experience, similar to the Foodspotting application, to the company's online offering.
Launched in 2010, Foodspotting is a visual guide for food allowing users to upload shots of their favorite dishes and their locations. People then use these to visit places for particular foods - so the best pizzas in Rome or the tastiest baguettes in Paris.
The new site is rich in user photos and offers a much better experience for those food seekers who want to use the site to plan their next great meal or trip to a new city.
Dishes are much easier to scan and guides for say the best coffee in Italy are easy to find and make. All in all the new site is now up to date with the company's app and should see the community, which has already posted around 2.5 million food pictures, continue to grow.
