It seems infusers are all the rage at the minute with everyone rushing out to buy fruits, herbs and spices to infuse with water and teas.
Last week FDL brought you the news of a new kickstarter project from Martin Kastner, the man who designed the famous Porthole infusers at The Aviary and here's yet another new product line of infuser for the kitchen.
Called Zing, it comes in three varieties, Aqua, Citrus and Vodka and will infuse whatever ingredients you choose. It works with a simple twist mechanism that crushes the ingredients at the bottom of the infuser. The crushed ingredients is then left to infuses with the water or vodka, with a filter in place to stop any pulp or seeds getting into the finished infusion.
The basic aqua zinger comes in at $25.95 and the website has some top resources on recipes, how to use the product and interesting flavor combinations to try.
