Even this year Acqua Panna Tuscan Days appointment was held in the magical backdrop of Tuscany, amid rolling green hills and sunshine. Acqua Panna Tuscan Days is an event that highlights the terroir and origins of Acqua Panna, which takes its name from Villa Panna, an estate once owned by the legendary Renaissance family Medici. International visitors, clients and journalist had the opportunity of discovering the beauty of Tuscany along Villa Panna's 1,300 hectares of greenery by foot, on a bicycle or a horse ride along the hills.
Alongside the Tuscan chic-nic lunch by chef Marco Stabile and the traditional Tuscan dinner at Palazzo Vicari in Scarperia, an ancient village famous for its knives, this year's event paid homage to water: first with an emotional concert titled "Water Melody" and with the stellar menu the Italian chef Davide Oldani created to showcase the versatility and essence of this precious element.
Inspired by the beauty of the region, the chef said: ''It's so good for me to be here. The sensation I get from Tuscany is like I'm living in a different time.'' Chef Oldani, owner of D'O restaurant near Milan, is known for using seasonal and high-quality ingredients to created what he refers to as ''pop'' cuisine. The chef applied his culinary flair to Acqua Panna and S.Pellegrino to prepare exciting and refreshing dishes for the event, which was held in late June.
