You don't have to be royalty to afford your own private chef. Eat like a king in your own home with the help of Kitchensurfing, a new concept that will allow you to rent a chef for hours at a time.
Enjoy a lazy Sunday brunch, an authentic Mexican feast or traditional Malaysian curry prepared in the comfort of your home. No cuisine is off limits, as Kitchensurfing will link diners with cooks from every corner of the world. Whatever food you are craving, you can have it made with just a click of a button.
Co-founded by Wendel Davis, Kithensurfing has yet to officially launch. But when it does, it will be a great tool for cooks to market themselves akin to what Etsy is doing for artists. As a bonus, the website will allow people with free kitchens to rent out their space. It's an ingenous way of bringing better food to our tables and blurring the line between fine dining in restaurants and at home.
