Rene Redezepi's planned Noma pop up at Claridges in London sold out yesterday in just 2.5 hours.
The event which will see Rene and his Noma team travel from Copenhagen to cook outside Denmark for the first time ever - coming to London in July during the Olympic games.
Rene told Fine Dining Lovers that work has started on the menu which will use British ingredients but he wouldn't reveal what the team had planned as the options and possibilities have not been decided.
Noma will close for renovations while Rene and his team are in London. Over 10,000 people registered for tickets with just over 3,000 lucky enough to get a seat and enjoy a Taste of Noma. What the chef will cook is a closely guarded secret but we do know that for the first time ever Noma will bring their unique style to another country and that's going to make for some interesting results.
