Alain Ducasse - Au Plaza Athenee - Paris
French chef Alain Ducasse is launching two hour lessons in the art of fine dining. The lessons, available at the three Michelin-starred restaurant The Dorchester and will begin on the 14th of April.
They will run for three months and cover everything from hold to fold napkins to selecting the correct wine glass and even tips on getting the correct distance between the napkin and the bread kife. Ducasse was 45 on the 50 Best Restaurants list in 2011.
Thomas Keller - Per Se - New York
The American chef Thomas Keller will be appearing at the Pebble Beach Food and Wine Festival in California. The chef has featured on the world's 50 best restaurants list every year since 2005 and in 2011 placed 10th for his Per Se venue in New York.
He'll be joining around 70 other chefs at the four day festival from the 12th - 15th of April - teaching visitors some of his world class cooking techniques.
Andoni Luis Aduriz - Mugaritz - Spain
Ranked at number 3 on the 2011 50 Best Restaurants list, Mugaritz, with chef Andoni Luis Aduriz, is a very special dining experience indeed. And Aduriz is offering 12 lucky people the chance to win a seat at a special dinner called ‘You Open the Doors".
The application is an online form an is open until the 10th of April - the dinner will be served on April the 17th.
