A video online that shows a Japanese worker making cabbage has racked up hundreds of thousands of views on YouTube.
The man uses chemicals and wax that are floated in water before being formed into the correct shape. A green dye is also used and diluted to give the pail green colour associated with a fresh cabbage.
From the little information available about the video it seems the food is intended for replica use on display cases and not to be eaten but we are a little worried in the office about fake foods that look so much like the real thing.
Let's hope a second video titled: 'how to make fake cabbage taste real' doesn't emerge in the future.
