Team Denmark have won the Bocuse d'Or Europe 2022 gold medal for their plate and platter combination, starring potato and venison respectively.
Jubilant chef Brian Mark Hansen from Soelleroed Kro restaurant in Holte, Denmark, celebrated on the podium, saying: "We are so proud and honoured and also the other teams were f***g amazing." He was joined on stage by commis Elisabeth Madsen and coach Christian Ebbe.

The silver medal went to team Hungary, cheered on by a home crowd, with the team led by chef Bene Dalnoki of the Stand restaurant in Budapest. Meanwhile, the bronze medal went to team Norway.
Along with podium trio Denmark, Hungary and Norway, the seven other teams going through to the Grand Finale in Lyon on 23 and 24 March 2023 are Sweden, Iceland, Finland, France, UK, Switzerland and Belgium.

- 'Best commis' was awarded to team Sweden's Thilda Mårtensson.
- Best 'theme on plate' was awarded to team UK, led by Ian Musgrave of The Ritz in London.
- Best 'theme on platter' was awarded to team Sweden, led chef Jimmi Eriksson.
