Bocuse d’Or has announced that Slovenian chef Ana Roš will be the next president of honour for the European selection, which will take place on 23 - 24 March 2022, in Budapest, Hungary.
Roš’ Hisa Franko in Kobarid, Slovenia, was awarded two Michelin stars in the first Michelin Guide selection for the country last year, underlining the chef’s international reputation. Her presence at the Bocuse d’Or European selection 2022 as the president of honour is yet another string to the chef’s impressive bow.
To be President of Honour for Bocuse d’Or Europe is above all a very great honour,” said Roš. "I believe there is no young chef who is not dreaming about Bocuse d’Or. Bocuse d’Or has always been supporting young talent – very ambitious, motivated young people who want to show how beautiful this profession really is. For someone who is self-taught, who comes from different waters this is probably one of the biggest honours you can have”.
