New York cooking school De Gustibus, going strong for over 40 years, continues to reach even more food fans than before. Now its chef-led lessons are being offered both online as well as in its state-of-the-art kitchen and classroom.
Re-opening its classrooms for in-person sessions post lockdown, the school will retain its popular virtual live demonstrations on Zoom, where students can continue to listen and learn from home while diving into their supplied recipe booklet. For those who prefer to view and dine from the comfort of their own home, some virtual classes will also offer a food delivery option, where the menu will be delivered fully prepared to the door - simply re-heat.
Located on the 8th floor of Macy’s Herald Square, De Gustibus has hosted more than 1,500 celebrity chefs, sommeliers and gourmet purveyors since it first opened in 1980. From culinary icons like Julia Child and Thomas Keller to rising star chefs at restaurants like Llama Inn, Adda, and King, the school is a natural go-to spot for culinary talent.
See the forthcoming classes below, and book for a class in person, or via Zoom.
