Milan Design Week: 28 Posti - Social Warming
During Milan Design Week (4-10 September), the restaurant 28 Posti is featuring an interesting collaboration with its chef, Marco Ambrosino, and the Spanish designer Martí Guixé. Their menu is a celebration of sustainability in all of its forms: environmental, economic and social.
The duo aims to prove how a new model of sustainable restoration is possible.
The menu consists of three different options: five courses, eight courses, and ten courses. During the meal, different objects created by Guixé will accompany the dish, creating a synergy between food and design. Chef Ambrosino created the dishes with low environmental impact ingredients, selecting producers who respect ecosystems and biodiversity.
In partnership with the students of the Master in Food Design and Innovation of Scuola Politecnica di Design SPD in Milan, Ambrosino and Guixé created a selection of objects that spoke to them of identity, balance, transparency, meeting, origin.
