Virgilio Martinez is Recruiting for his New Restaurant in Tokyo

Pioneering Peruvian chef Virgilio Martinez is now recruiting positions for his new restaurant, MAZ Tokyo, due to open in Japan in 2021.

An announcement posted on Instagram today reads: "Hola amigos. This is exciting news. For the beginning of year 2021 we will be opening our own place in Japan: MAZ Tokyo. We have 5 positions to be filled by local cooks and hospitality professionals, who will become part of our international team and network Mater.In - MAZ Tokyo."

Martinez's expanding portfolio already includes restaurants Central, Kjolle, Mayo, MIL and Mater, a research arm, all in Peru and Lima in London and Dubai. This will be his first venture in Japan.
