The most decorated chef of all time, the legendary chef Joël Robuchon shares his philosophy of cooking and life.
Before he passed away, the world of gastronomy knew that Robuchon’s greatness was the rarest of things and while his cuisine is absolutely legendary, in this video we are reminded of the chef’s humanity and kindness. He was a deep thinker who just wanted to make people happy with his food.
Recounting the tenets of his cooking philosophy, he brings us back to where it all started, as a young man. Studying to be a priest in a seminary, he would steal away from his self-reflection in order to help the nuns in the kitchen.
It was there that he found his true calling, and luckily for the rest of the wold, he found a vocation in gastronomy.
