Heston Blumenthal has joined the long list of fine-dining chefs now doing take-away, with the announcement that his two-Michelin-star Dinner in London will take food orders for collection.
London diners can now enjoy Blumenthal’s molecular cuisine from Dinner, located in the five-star Mandarin Oriental in Knightsbridge, and take it home to enjoy. Dinner’s famous 'meat fruit' - a 13th century dish that looks like a peach but is made of chicken liver - is one of the highlights of the take-away menu.

Blumenthal has designed three custom takeout menus inspired by different periods in British history, all have four courses and cost £75 each.
The Vivendier Menu (c.1430) and Forme of Cury Menu (c.1390) offer a delicate pairing of meat and fish, alongside the Sambocade dessert, a medieval-inspired cheesecake dish. Meanwhile ,the Royal Cooking Menu (c.1716) is a vegetarian option, featuring a truffle version of 'meat fruit'.

The dining room remains closed at Dinner until September 1st, however guests can sit in the newly-opened restaurant Garden Terrace, which looks directly onto Hyde Park.
