The Restaurant & Bar Design Awards, the globally recognised competition dedicated to the design of food and beverage spaces, has crowned its winners for 2019.
Now in its twelfth year and with entries from over 100 countries worldwide, the competition cover every imaginable space; from ships to airports, museums to burger vans, from revered Michelin-starred establishments to the fleeting dynamism of pop-ups.
The major categories, the Best Overall Bar and the Best Overall Restaurant, awarded Alice & Fifth restaurant in Johannesburg, South Africa designed by TristanPlessisStudio, and Spine Beirut bar in Lebanon, designed by Gatserelia Design studio.
Other 43 category winners were revealed during the awards ceremony.
