Take a Sky High Mediterranean Dining Tour in Bangkok

UNO MAS rooftop restaurant in Bangkok is set to host a one-night-only Mediterranean fine dining journey in collaboration with guest sommelier Marino Braccu from three Michelin starred 8 1/2 Otto E Mezzo Bombana (Hong Kong) on Thursday 2 May.

Diners with a head for heights and a love of the Mediterranean will be in for a spectacular evening seated al fresco on the 54th floor dining deck enjoying a specially prepared 6 course menu and exclusive wine pairing set against the stunning backdrop of the Bangkok skyline.

Executive Chef Sandro Aguilera has created a special six-course ‘Mediterranean Tour’ for the occasion with each dish expertly paired with an Italian wine by Marino Braccu.

‘Oyster’ (with dried octopus and potato foam)
‘Squid’ (Palamós Squid with cauliflower and artichoke)
'Bonito Belly’ (native black garlic with Mediterranean herbs and concentrate juice)
Tradition Ocean and Land (Iberico presa pork, Denia Red Prawn and Consommé infused ham)
‘Beef’ (120 Hours Roasted Wagyu, Endive and Crispy Pulled Beef). 

Meet the "Best Sommelier in Hong Kong"

Sardinian born sommelier Marino Braccu is a true ambassador of Italian food. As both sommelier and General Manager of 3 Michelin starred restaurant Otto e Mezzo Bombana in Hong Kong he curates a wine list of over 2,200 wines including rare bottles and special editions, from Tuscany to Sicily.

Marino has been named Hong Kong’s best sommelier with his wine list winning numerous awards and was most recently named for the The Art of Hospitality as part of Asia 50 Best Restaurants sponsored by San Pellegrino and Acqua Panna.  Otto e Mezzo Bombana ranked #12 in Asia 50 Best Restaurants Award 2019 and is the only three-star Michelin restaurant outside of Italy.
