Sydney's Crave International Food Festival 2012

Get ready to have some fun down under! Australia's biggest food festival has just kicked off. The monthlong Crave Sydney International Food Festival is a massive fest akin to a food carnival with cooking demonstrations, hands-on classes, dinners, lunches, tours and more. 

The festival, which is sponsored by Acqua Panna and S.Pellegrino, will feature some of Australia's finest culinary talent like Mark Best from Marque, Nino Zoccali from Pendolino  and Alessandro Pavoli from Ormeggio. International talent includes includes Italy's number one chef Massimo Bottura and Jordi Roca from El Celler de Can Roca, number two in the World's 50 Best Restaurants list.

Crave will feature a wealth of activities like the World Chef Showcase on October 6-7th at the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Center, Noodle Markets at Hyde Park, Barbecue Madness, and Breakfast on Bondi Beach on October 14th.

Another exciting event will be a five-course dessert degustation inspired by Sanpellegrino Sparkling Fruit Beverages. Each dessert will be a fun twist on Italian classics and will be prepared on 24th and 25th October by award-winning executive chef Anna Polyviou from The Bathers Pavilion.
