Sicilian chef Martina Caruso will transport diners at the Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit Bangkok to the enchanted Mediterranean island during a 6-course tasting menu showcasing her signature dishes from Michelin starred Hotel Signum restaurant in Salina.
Italian chef Martina Caruso will be showcasing the best in Sicilian cuisine during two special dinners at Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit Bangkok on 22 and 23 November.
Taking leave of her family run Hotel Signum in Salina Italy, the winner of the Michelin Female Chef Award 2019 will be sharing the incredible cuisine of this Mediterranean island during a dynamic two-part dining series as part of the "Sicilian Journey."
For part one of the Sicilian journey chef Caruso has devised a special six-course tasting menu with wine pairings on a seafood theme. Expect plenty of her signature dishes starring like bagna cĂ uda with sea urchin, confit mackerel with green olive soup, buffalo mozzarella and candied capers, gentile pasta mixed with mussels, zucchini and ragusano cheese and snapper marinated lettuce, orange and anchovies (pictured below) and last but not least, milk soup with chocolate,coffee and carob.
Martina Caruso is both the chef and co-owner of Michelin starred Hotel Signum in Salina, Italy along with her mother and father and brother Luca, the Hotel Manager. Caruso is considered from eno-gastronomic journalists and insiders, the Enfant Prodige of Italian Cusine.
