CNN have released their list of the best destinations around the world for eating and Taiwan with small eats and big flavour has come out on top. The list is created from votes by CNN readers with Taiwan beating off the closest competition of The Philippines and Italy placed in second and third respectively.
A mix of Min Nan, Teochew and Hokkien Chinese communities with some Japanese cuisine for good measure, Taiwan is certainly an exciting destination for gourmands. Asia actually dominates the list with eight of the ten places falling in that part of the world, only Italy and Greece are the non Asian locations on the list.
