An exclusive culinary event at Eataly Century City raises funds for the LAFD Foundation and the California Community Foundation.

When food and community come together, real impact is made. That’s the idea behind Gather for Good, an exclusive benefit dinner featuring Massimo Bottura, Mattia Agazzi, and Michael Cimarusti, taking place on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at Eataly Century City’s rooftop restaurant, Terra. More than just a showcase of world-class cuisine, the evening is dedicated to raising funds for those affected by the recent California wildfires, supporting the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation and the California Community Foundation.

A Collaboration of Culinary Titans

At the center of the event is Massimo Bottura, one of the most influential chefs in the world. Known for his three-Michelin-starred restaurant, Osteria Francescana, and his global Food for Soul initiative, Bottura has long used his culinary influence to fight food waste and hunger. His participation in this event continues that mission—channeling the power of food into tangible community support.

Joining him are Mattia Agazzi, the chef behind Gucci Osteria Beverly Hills, and Michael Cimarusti, the force behind Providence, one of LA’s most acclaimed seafood restaurants. Together with Eataly’s culinary team, they will create a one-night-only tasting menu, blending Italian craftsmanship with the vibrant flavors of Los Angeles.

The evening also marks a milestone for Bottura—the 30th anniversary of Osteria Francescana—making this dinner a celebration of his impact on the culinary world while also giving back to the community.

An Evening That Gives Back

While the food will be exceptional, the true purpose of the evening goes beyond the plate. All proceeds from the event will directly support wildfire relief efforts, providing resources, equipment, and training for first responders through the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation, while also helping fund long-term recovery programs via the California Community Foundation.

The dinner is part of a larger movement in the culinary industry—where chefs aren’t just feeding people, but using their platforms to rebuild and restore communities in need.
