The World’s 50 Best Restaurants, sponsored by S.Pellegrino and Acqua Panna, will once again return to London but this time with a new summer ceremony.
The 13th annual World’s 50 Best Restaurants awards will take place on June 1st at London’s Guildhall, the event usually happens in April.
Last year saw Rene Redzepi and his Noma team regain the title as The World’s Best Restaurant. Speaking about the new date, William Drew, group editor of The World’s 50 Best Restaurants, said: ““In 2015, for the first time, The World’s 50 Best Restaurants awards event will move from its traditional date in April to take place in June. We are very pleased to be hosting this annual gathering of the world’s gastronomic elite at London’s historic Guildhall once again.”
The organisation have also announced that this year they'll be teaming up with the professional service consultancy Deloitte who will work as the official independent adjudication partner for the list, something they say will help ensure the ’integrity and authenticity of the voting process’.
