The dining scene in Dubai is about to get more exciting thanks to the upcoming opening of the world-famous China Grill.
The China Grill, which has been a New York staple for 27 years, will dish up Asian-inspired cuisine at The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina. Split across two floors, the restaurant will feature a lounge and bar area upstairs with the dining area located downstairs.
It will be manned by executive chef Owen Stewart, who worked at China Grill New York for 11 years. The bar will be tended by Dario Nanni, who has 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry and a diploma in Wine Production from the Agrarian Institute in Italy.
China Grill Dubai will open at the end of October and San Pellegrino will be there to celebrate the occasion with a new magnum bottle of sparkling water.

“This is the most exciting restaurant opening in the city to date, bar none,” Maurizio Susan, operations manager of China Grill in Dubai, said in a statement. “It’s Dubai’s turn to experience truly innovative, Asian-inspired cuisine in a real Big Apple setting. Our offering is unique in the city and we look forward to taking people that already know great food to new heights.”
