Spoons...we use them everyday and mostly take them for granted. But in the hands of artist Terry Widner this humble utensil is molded into unique works of art.
Widner is a woodcarving artist based in Boynton Beach, Florida and his spoons come in all sorts of outrageous shapes and sizes. In his Etsy profile, he says his creations begin as one thing but they quickly turn into something he never imagined.
His creations form part of a line called Spoontaneous. The collection includes a black and white 'bone head' spoon, a S-s-s spoon and a racy 'great race' wooden spoon (all pictured here). His talent in making the ordinary extraordinary is definitely undeniable.
