What better way to gear up for Fall than with delectable caramel apples? Making them from scratch can be quite the project but with this video tutorial from Sunset magazine you'll lean how to make mini caramel apples in no time.
These bite-sized carnival treats are just the thing to prepare for game day or a tailgate party (you could dip them in sprinkles with your team's colors!). They'd also make a lovely Halloween treat and a nice ending to a Thanksgiving dinner.
All you'll need to make these adorable mini caramel apples is plenty of sugar, cream, a melon scooper and a candy thermometer. The recipe does call for corn syrup but if you are not fond of using it you can substitute with the same amount of honey.
