Ever wondered how the Fortune Cookies you get at the end of your Chinese meal are made? Or just how they get those little messages inside?
This video from How it’s Made shows you exactly how Fortune Cookies are made from the basic ingredients through the industrial mixing and cooking of ingredients.
Once the batter has been cooked on specific little trays on the ‘Wheel of Fortune Cookies’ the mix bakes for around a minute and are shaped before they cool down.
There are 5,000 different messages going into the cookies at the plant in the video and you’ll see that the message is added as the cookie is given its shape.
