Thomas Keller’s much loved Bouchon Bakery is heading to the Middle East with three new stores planned for Dubai, Kuwait and Qatar.
Keller’s bakery originally opened back in 2003 in Yountville, California. The business, which stocks a range of breads, cakes and patisseries with a French flare, has since expanded with locations across the U.S.
"As we expand outside the United States, we are pleased to partner with Alshaya,”said Keller in a press release explaining how the chef will partner with the international franchise operator.
“Together we will make Bouchon Bakery an outstanding destination for our Middle East guests and visitors alike. I'm eagerly looking forward to our official debut," he added.
On top of a range of sweet boulangerie style offerings, the bakery is also known for a wide range of savoury dishes.
The first location is expected to open at the Jumeirah Beach Residence in Dubai, at the end of 2017.
