The world tennis star Novak Djokovic has purchased the world's entire supply of Donkey Cheese from the one farm in Serbia that produces the delicacy.
We reported the news recently on FDL that Donkey Cheese, known as Pule, is now the world's most expensive fromage and can sell for up to $600 for one pound of product.
Djokovic, who is a Wimbledon Champion and who has held the world number one spot for the past two years, bought the cheese to use at a new chain of restaurants he is opening in Serbia.
The manager of the Zasavica cheese company, Slobodan Simic, told the Daily Mail newspaper that the decision to sell their entire production to Djokovic was based on the fact that they hope he will become an ambassador for their product around the world.
It's not known how the star will serve the cheese at his restaurants or just how much it will cost per serving.
