We love coming across unique restaurants and eateries across the world. Some feature exciting architecture but others make headlines for dishing out big flavor in small spaces. Such is the case with La Distribuce in Montreal.
This tiny coffee shop is located behind a staircase in Mont-Royal avenue near the most popular subway station in the city. Literally a cubbyhole, the café serves takeout coffee in the smallest retail space in Montreal.
La Distributrice offers three choices of coffee: Americano, latte and espresso. The coffee is served in sleek cups and packages, which add a homey feel to takeaway coffee.
The small wooden interior is stylish but strategically designed to ensure prompt service. La Distributrice is open year-round but be prepared for a short wait as lines do tend to snake down the block.
