During his trip to Tokyo for the G9 summit, superstar Brazilian Chef Alex Atala did more than just attend the gastro-manifesto event.
The renown chef of D.O.M. restaurant took to the streets of Tokyo with his buddies Ferran Adria, Gastón Acurio, Massimo Bottura and Joan Roca, all of whom participated in the summit which was aimed at discussing the training of future chefs.
Together the chefs enjoyed many culinary adventures which included eating sushi at the famed Tsukiji Market and dining at Tempura restaurant located in Hotel Okura.
Perhaps the crowning glory of Atala's trip was his visit to the legendary three Michelin-starred restaurant Sukiyabashi Jiro, whose chef Jiro Ono is considered the best sushi chef in the world.
