Here’s a beautifully strange video from the Spain’s newest three Michelin starred restaurant DiverXO which offers a look inside the kitchens with chef David Muñoz and his team at work.
The video has been produced to mark the relocation of DiverXO inside the NH Collection Eurobuilding hotel in Madrid - a bold move after receiving their third star just last year.
The video shows Muñoz and his crew putting together a selection of their colourful cuisine - it’s got a real dark edge to it as ingredients are squashed, crushed, disced and fired - all while Munoz sloshes what looks like red blood on an all white canvas.
There’s obvious parallels being drawn between the worlds of food and art before the whole thing heads to the dining room and things start to get really weird.
