The 'ripe tomato' haircut has become THE trend among Japanese teens who enjoy sporting a bizarre look. All the credit goes to Hiro, a stylist who works at the Trick Store, a hip hair salon in Osaka.
Hiro refers to the ripe tomato 'do as his ''masterpiece'' and has a knack for creating other outrageous looks you can check out at My Modern Met.
Although teens in United States have been known to go go wild every so often, it might be a while before Americans ketchup to the trend.
