A cocktail inspired by Ferran Adrià, a Waygu beef tribute to English artist Damien Hirst and Taiwanese dumplings are just some of the menu offerings Massimo Bottura has designed for the New Year's Eve menu at his acclaimed restaurant Osteria Francescana.
The nine-course menu was inspired by Bottura's many travels this year. The chef toured the globe participating in events like the Cancun-Maya Riviera food festival in Mexico and the Identitá Golose chef congress in New York. Most recently, he visited Spain to cook at La Maison Mumm in Madrid.
Diners will feast on dishes inspired by the Maine coastline, Japanese sea urchins and South American ceviche along with traditional Italian favorites like foie gras and white truffle ravioli and panettone soufflé. Each dish will be paired with wine to celebrate the spirit of the New Year.
