Mario Batali has always been an outspoken and assertive chef. So when it came to fessing up to the real reason he left the popular television show Iron Chef, the New York chef didn't hold back during an interview at the Atlantic Food Summit.
The moment for Mario's departure from Iron Chef, a show he says he was very fond of, came when the judging panel of food experts was replaced by what he calls ''skinny little actresses'' who were squeamish about things like raw fish. One day Mario just had enough.
