Roads & Kingdoms has teamed up with Anthony Bourdain’s estate and chef Jose Andrés for the League of Travelers, a series of high-end culinary tours that take in destinations in Spain, Italy, Georgia, Japan and Thailand.
As the world is gearing up to world travel again, Roads & Kingdoms, the organisation that partnered with Anthony Bourdain has compiled a menu of bespoke culinary tours that will take place throughout the year and will take travellers to culinary destinations to be hosted by local chefs and experts with 5% of all proceeds going to support Andrés' World Central Kitchen.
In the spirit of Bourdain’s intrepidness, these are a series of tours that will take travellers into the culinary heart of different cultures throughout 2022. First up on the tour is Andrés' homeland of Asturias (pictured) in Spain. There are limited spaces available on the tours, but sign up to the waiting list to be first in line for the experiences.

Nathan Thornburgh of Roads & Kingdoms posted on Instagram: “If you know me, maybe you’ve noticed I haven’t been around NYC much. This is why—I've been on the road for @roadsandkingdoms’ League of Travelers, notating mozzarella tensile strength and measuring thread counts and auditioning various drinking buddies around the globe, one copa at a time. And now we’re launching, with Tony’s estate and also with @chefjoseandres, a baker’s dozen of incredible trips around the world. These are high-end, ambitious trips but with a heart for the small details and for the best of local and traditional producers, chefs and artisans. The link is in my bio. Maybe I'll see you out there somewhere.”
Chef Andrés said about the League of Travelers: “These guys know how to travel, Roads & Kingdoms were my dear friend Anthony Bourdain's partners. Now they and their partners (including the Bourdain estate... and me!)… together we are launching culinary tours to some of the world's most amazing places to eat. Starting, of course, with my homeland Asturias."
