Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants, sponsored by S.Pellegrino and Acqua Panna, will be announced on 10th October in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The ceremony for the seventh edition of the Central and South American listing comes to Usina del Arte in Argentine capital. After two years in Lima, Peru, two in Mexico City and two in Colombia’s Bogotá.
The majestic old world city, with a proud culinary tradition based on its immigrant history, of Spanish, Italian and Portuguese influence mixed with indigenous ingredients and local passion, make it a perfect place to host a gathering of food’s most important chefs, restaurateurs, journalists and thinkers.
A place of good food, of world famous beef and Malbec, of song and tango, there will be a real sense of occasion at Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants awards. Including the awards ceremony and gala dinner, the full program will offer attendees the opportunity to take part in the thought-leadership series #50BestTalks, at the Four Seasons Hotel Buenos Aires and the annual Chefs’ Feast on 9th October.
Last year Lima’s Maido knocked local rival Central off the top spot after three years at the summit. With a boom in Latin America’s rich and diverse culinary scene there are sure to be some new rising stars talking a challenge to the established stars of the scene in 2019.
